If you looked at the boxes you might think a Universal Remote Control will make it really easy to control all your audio visual and entertainment devices. But here’s the real story on all-in-one remotes!
The fact is they are actually harder to use than all the individual remotes of all your devices. Here’s why: If I pick up my DVD player remote control, I know I’m definitely controlling my DVD player. If I pick up my TV remote, I know I’m definitely controlling my TV. With a Universal Remote Control it’s not that simple! You actually have to press a button to select which device to control, and you have to remember which is currently selected.
