In Hobart use a horizontal polarisation VHF Antenna. Band 3 coverage for channels 6-11 are required. Hobart’s TV transmitters are located on Mt Wellington.
In some areas of Hobart’s North East Suburbs, where Mt Wellington cannot be seen, transmitters at Risdon are used. These require a horizontal polarisation UHF antenna with 5 coverage for channels 45-51. See some examples here.
